Woman's Baton Rouge Hospital The project direction was to assess the capability and cost of three options on the current campus; describe a replacement option on a greenfield site and comparison of options to campus development priorities.
Working with the client planning team, WHR Advisors utilized a ‘tried and trued’ methodology to identify goals, facts, needs and opportunities for the campus.
Departmental representatives, the executive team and physician interviews were conducted to determine current operational constraints and plans for future growth. In addition, patient interviews were conducted to assess opportunities for design modification.
A program was completed to determine required space for the campus in 2012. A comparison matrix reviewed the pros and cons of each of the four options as well as how each scheme addressed the campus priorities.
Ultimately the client chose a replacement facility on a new campus.
