Challenge The Billings Clinic is a large multi-specialty practice located in Billings, Montana. They were in need of a separate location for ambulatory surgery and procedures, herein referred to as ‘the Center’. WHR Advisors was engaged to explore the opportunity for Billings Clinic to create the Center.
Process
Conservative, moderate and aggressive volume forecasts for 2015 were developed based upon the demographic impact and assumptions for operations; the number of surgery and procedure rooms required to meet the agreed upon forecast model assumptions; and cost estimates for Center options.
The total project cost estimates, forecast volumes and estimated square footage for each option were provided to Billings Clinic for completion of proforma analyses.
Results
WHR Advisors provided a detailed assessment of each program option. Together, WHR Advisors and Billings Clinic reviewed the assessment against established operational and design goals to provide the necessary information for the executive team to determine next steps .
