WHR was engaged with Texas A&M to design their state of the art Urban & Structural Entomology Center and showcase one of the top programs of it’s kind in the United States. The Center was designed to not only attract potential entomology faculty and students, but also provide an environment to support and mentor existing students’ research and learning efforts.
Upon completion, this 10,000 sf building will provide office space for the endowed chair, principal investigators, research assistants, graduate students, and the correspondence course coordinator. Also included are individual laboratory spaces for maintaining colonies of ants, termites, and cockroaches, as well as a general insectary for all other insect colonies such as bed bugs and stored product pests.
