A repeat client, we have provided full architectural services for multiple projects for the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System. The Bed Tower expansion program involves the implementation of family-centered care design concepts. The new six story, 189,750 square foot, 170-bed tower includes clinical services, obstetrical, med/surg beds, pediatrics, neonatal ICU, Critical Care Unit, and Cath Lab Suite.
The program for expanding this existing medical center in the Woodlands was simple: expansion of inpatient beds. There are five floors of inpatient care designed in six bed clusters for a total of 36 beds per floor. In addition, the ground floor is designed as a women�s center with 34 LDRP rooms.
