The new 86,000 SF Children�s Medical Center at Morristown Memorial Hospital is designed to house numerous pediatric specialists in one centralized location. This new facility gives the physicians and patients a place where medical services are delivered in a contemporary �family focused� environment. The Center includes a day hospital for short-stay procedures, a cancer treatment facility, diabetes center, pediatric special care unit, diagnostic center, and a clinical sub-specialist area. There are 26 private and semi-private inpatient beds, whose rooms are oversized to accommodate families. Features include private bathrooms with showers, windows with views to the outdoors, patterned ceiling tiles, built-in beds, and recliners. A family great room is located in a pleasant third-floor space with a circular skylight. Its amenities include a TV lounge area, computer ports, kitchen facilities, washers and dryers, and overnight sleeping rooms.
