This 80,000 square foot, three-story outpatient clinic consolidates all ambulatory pediatric services next to existing inpatient pediatric units. The state-of-the-art facility includes more than 20 subspecialty clinics for children with complex illnesses and chronic conditions.
Within the multiple sub-specialty and primary care clinics, WHR Interiors developed a wonderful balance of creativity and practicality. Three design themes -- the Sea, Jungle, and Sky -- identify each of the three levels. Within each level, a wayfinding system has been incorporated by using feature columns, friezes, and floor patterns. The building was designed in collaboration with Cesar Pelli & Associates.
