Biological Science-Wet Lab Building
Austin, Texas

Currently under construction, the Biological Science-Wet Lab Building will provide urgently needed flexible laboratories for the College of Natural Sciences molecular biology, neurobiology and microbiology programs. This 170,000 gross square foot, five-story structure will include a central heat recovery system for energy conservation. The building massing, setbacks and architectural appearance are in full compliance with the recently adopted campus master plan. Provisions have been made for future expansion by incorporating two shell floors that will be built-out at a later date. WHR, as Architect of Record, is working in association with Overland Partners on the design of this facility.
