The M D Anderson Cancer Center�s new Faculty Center consolidates the administration efforts of the nationally recognized institution into one building on the main campus of the Cancer Center. This 325,000 square foot, 13-story building houses administrative offices, meeting rooms and conference rooms. A pedestrian bridge connects the building with the existing patient hotel and clinical complex. This project was �Design/Build� under the construction leadership of Hensel Phelps Construction Co. and was done on a fast track to satisfy owner�s schedule. WHR developed the detailed program for the facility as well as the architectural design. The first five floors of the building were completed and turned over to the client in 14 months.
