WHR is seeking a proven marketing professional to join our marketing and business development team. This is an opportunity for the right individual to put their strong writing and organizational skills to best use as part of a small, hard-working and collegial group.
Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can assume responsibility for all aspects of proposal design/development including preparing the proposal project plan, gathering and organizing proposal content and most importantly, writing and editing of proposals and pre-qualification submissions. He/she will also oversee and/or prepare the design and production of associated graphics: covers and layouts, organization charts and presentations. This fast-paced and deadline driven position is critical contributor to the firm's marketing success.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in English, journalism, communications marketing, mass media or related field, preferred. Candidate must have a minimum of 5-8 years experience in proposal and presentation development, preferably with an architectural, engineering or construction firm.
Candidate must have the ability to lead a proposal and be responsible for managing all aspects of that proposal as well as providing overall quality assurance.
Candidate should be highly organized, creative and solution-oriented. They will possess strong interpersonal skills, enthusiastic attitude, leadership ability, and excellent work ethic with a flexibility to work with a variety of team members, including firm principals and project leaders, to meet dynamic project demands.
