The one-story ambulatory center needed to be visible from the 60mph freeway, so it needed to look like a larger building with an imposing fa�ade. The community�s design-review panel set the materials.
This freestanding center serves as the outpatient core of services for an investor-owned community hospital located about six miles northeast. It is intended to bring hospital quality service to the neighborhood, for the convenience of patient and physician. It provides diagnostic radiology, including a CT scanner, women�s ultrasound and mammography services, outpatient surgery and endoscopy services, as well as post-procedure recovery.
