The desired candidate is a thought leader in the BIM arena and will be able to use their extensive BIM knowledge and experience to spearhead the use of advanced BIM tools on multiple projects. The successful candidate will also lead firm wide continuing training in Revit and other related BIM software and construction related applications.

Position Summary

WHR is searching for a Project Architect to work on high profile educational and institutional projects for our Education and Science Studio. This is an opportunity for the right individual to put their strong technical and organizational skills to best use as part of a small, hard-working and collegial group. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter who will be the technical leader on a singular project, working under the direction of the Studio Leader and Senior Project Architect. He/she will provide supervision and guidance on all technical matters related to the delivery of a project, and will be responsible for guiding, supervising and maintaining quality across the A/E team on the project. It is essential that the Project Architect has an appreciation of design and understand the importance of maintaining the design intent through all stages of project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in architecture
• Must be licensed as an architect
• Must have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in project delivery and two years’ experience in education, science and research projects
