Dallas, TX — Cynthia Brown, CPSM, a respected marketer of professional services, has joined WHR Architects to lead the business development effort for its nationally recognized Education, Science and Technology Studio (EST). With her strong track record of working with institutional clients in Texas and the Southwest, Ms. Brown brings both energy and experience her new role.
“Cynthia is the perfect fit for WHR and EST,” says Amy Lopez, the firm’s director of marketing. “ She has the intellect to address the often complex, always challenging projects where we excel, as well as the passion and empathy that are so characteristic of our team.”
“From my first interview, I was impressed by the quality of projects, the people, and WHR’s commitment to their clients and to the ultimate users of their facilities,” Ms. Brown adds. “They truly practice what the tagline says — architecture with people in mind.”
A graduate of Southern Illinois University, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Journalism, Ms. Brown is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and serves on the SMPS Dallas Chapter’s board of Directors. She holds a Certified Professional Services Marketer designation from SMPS, as well as multiple achievement awards from professional associations.
As she approaches the academic market, Ms. Brown has WHR’s substantial portfolio of projects for prestigious clients in education, research, recreation, performing arts and allied health to share.
