Studio Leader to serve as Chair of prestigious council

Houston, Texas (April 2007) � Kirby M. Keahey, FAIA, WHR Architects, Inc. (WHR) Senior Principal and Studio Leader, was recently nominated and elected, as a Professional Fellow, to serve as Chair for the Advisory Council of Texas A&M; University College of Architecture�s Center for Heritage Conservation.

Keahey graduated from Texas A&M; University, earning a Bachelor of Architecture and from the Fountainbleau School of Music & Fine Arts. He attended Columbia University, where he received a Master of Arts in Architecture. Kirby participates in American Institute of Architects (AIA) Houston Chapter and the Texas Society of Architects (TSA).

He brings more than 40 years of professional architecture experience to the Advisory Council. Keahey has overseen national and international projects through all phases of programming, design, and construction.
