Houston, Texas (May 2009) – On Friday evening, May 1, at Grace Cathedral, as part of the AIA convention in San Francisco, Greg Roberts and Anita Moran of WHR Architects will be invested as Fellows of the American Institute of Architects. The College of Fellows is composed of members of the Institute who are elected to Fellowship by a jury of their peers. Fellowship is one of the highest honors the AIA can bestow. Elevation to Fellowship recognizes the achievements of the architect as an individual as well as their significant contributions to architecture and to society.

Greg Roberts is being honored as a leading force in the development of sustainable architecture for healthcare. Anita Moran’s fellowship recognizes her groundbreaking work in the design of campus recreation centers. A frequent lecturer and well-published author on the design of recreation centers, she is a leader in the movement that encourages greater social engagement and physical wellbeing on campus through the design of state-of-the-art facilities.
