MITIE - Methodist Institute of Technology Integration


Challenge
This project is the first of its kind training center in the United States that will act as a "new skills acquisition and retooling site" for physicians and allied health workers worldwide.

Process 
The institute is planned and designed to be composed of multifunctional suites with technologies that include virtual environments, simulators, technical trainers, robotics, image-guidance devices, and combined technology suites such as MRI and Surgery. The entire project will also be integrated with conferencing and debriefing capabilities.

Result
The goal of MITIE is to provide advanced and superior clinical training in a safe and participatory environment. MITIE’s training environment will foster innovation while allowing clinicians to efficiently acquire new procedural and patient care skills.
