Our wellness benefits include a unique Parental Leave for new mothers and fathers. Two weeks paid leave after one year of employment and increase to up to four weeks. We offer an optional health club membership at the CenterPoint Gym, fresh fruit every day and annual flu shots. Additional wellness benefits are provided through the health plan. They include well child exams and immunizations, eye and hearing exams, annual well woman exam, annual prostate exam, colorectal screening, routine physicals and mammograms.
PPO plan with United Healthcare with buy up-options for lower deductibles and co-pays. We also offer a high deductible plan with an HSA. No waiting period for eligibility.
Dental premium is paid 100% for employee with buy-up option for adding the family. PPO is only option.

Employees may elect additional life coverage of 5x base salary up to $500,000. Spouse life coverage may be elected up to $250,000 or double the employee’s election, and $5,000 life coverage is available per child.
Coverage that pays 60% of weekly salary after a 30 day elimination period. Employee uses sick and vacation time, then payments start the 31st day.
Coverage that replaces up to 66.67% of monthly salary for disabilities exceeding 90 days. Payments completely tax free.
Employees may set aside up to $5,000 on a pre-tax basis to cover their own or their dependents’ expenses not covered under the medical, dental or vision plans. Future Healthcare Reform regulations may reduce this amount by 50% in 2013.
Employees may set aside up to $5,000 on a pre-tax basis to cover daycare expenses for tax-qualified dependents.
Available 24 hours a day, this confidential program helps employees and their household members resolve personal issues related to emotional wellbeing, health and wellness, legal matters, childcare, eldercare and more. The company provides four counseling visits at no charge. Employees may contact the EAP privately on-line or by phone.
WHR observes eight holidays per year.
WHR provides six days per year for personal or sick time.
Employees accumulate vacation to total 10 days for tenure up to 5 years and 15 days thereafter.
Employees are eligible to enroll in our plan the first month of hire. Thereafter, employees may make deferral changes at the beginning of each quarter. Other than the IRS limits there are no limitations to deferral percentages. WHR matches contributions with a substantial discretionary sum, subject to a 5 year vesting schedule. This allows participating employees to share in the firm’s success.
Employees are paid a bonus for referring applicants who are then hired by the company. The bonus is paid after an employee completes three months at WHR.
WHR encourages employees to continue developing skills throughout their careers. The firm reimburses registration fees and costs for successfully completing the ARE, NCIDQ and LEED exam. We also provide paid time-off for the taking the exams. WHR offer in-house study materials and study groups to help employees prepare. At WHR learning doesn’t stop at licensure. We sponsor a multitude of CEU learning opportunities in our offices, which are available to all.
