Lia worked in the pre-design and design stages of a 500 bed replacement project of the New Patient Tower at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.
For her Tradewell project, she was responsible for a pro-bono project with Memorial Hospital Southeast to renovate a vintage ICU and create a healing environment as a prototypical example for future renovations.
Lia organized and managed the production process to publish the book "ICU 2010: Design for the Future." She has authored portions of the book created from the ICU 2010 Conference: A Critical Care Design Symposium.
Lia continues to build on her architectural career at WHR. She is an Associate, serves as Sustainable Design Leader, and is focused full-time on advancing a paradigm of sustainability as well as project delivery models for sustainable design for the Houston and Dallas offices.
